This year’s annual Dutch Keuring is located here at Friesian Focus! Join us for the annual breed inspection for Friesian horses and experience the best Friesian breeding stock in Southern California! The Keuring is a breed inspection for Friesian horses held every year for two purposes. Firstly the breed inspection is a way for the studbook and Friesian organizing body of understanding information about the general Friesian horse population. Keuring is additionally a way for Friesian horse owners and breeders to officially evaluate their horses against the breeding standards.
This Keuring is organized by FHANA (the Friesian horse association of North America) and the FHCSC (The Friesian Horse Club of Southern California). The event judges horses in different age groups separated by gender. The very rigorous process of approving new breeding stallions begins at Keurings held around the world. The one day inspection will begin at 9AM and finish before sundown. It will include IBOB inspections and Fokdag. There will be food for purchase on the day of the event including complementary breakfast until 9AM and free coffee all day! The event will also have exhibitions by approved breeding stallions, including our own Monte 378 Sport.
Anyone! Spectators are welcome free of charge. Frieisian owners and breeders who would like to be judged in the inspection can find all the registration forms on the FHANA website and additional event information on the FHCSC website.
In addition to providing the venue, we will be showcasing quality Monte 378 Sport offspring. We will also be doing a special stallion exhibition of Monte.
